El Acapulco - Reserva de mesa

I really enjoy the Steak Mexicano, mixed fajitas, shrimp chimichanga, carne asada, and carnitas at this restaurant. Even the fajita taco salad is delicious here. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. When there were two El Acapulco locations in Jonesboro, I only dined at this one. In my opinion, it’s the only authentic Mexican restaurant in town (TaMolly's doesn't count, folks! It's more of a blend of Tex-Mex, American, and upscale Taco Bell). At El Acapulco, I can order dishes that aren’t on the menu because many of the kitchen staff are Mexican. Went there last night, wonderful meal. I’ve been there twice and although I don’t genuinely enjoy Mexican food, their rice is incredible and the shrimp is amazing (I’ve gotten both the spicy and the garlic and butter sauce, both are great) Plus I had the most amazing server, Katilyn, she was absolutely incredible. Always kind and got exactly what I wanted whenever I needed it, and she was so fun she introduced me to her coworkers! Axle is really nice and there was a girl (who’s name I can’t remember at the moment) who was incredibly funny and would randomly check on me and ask me things to the tune of “How’s everything going?” And things like that. Wow! The salsa and chips were outstanding, and we paired them with cheese and guacamole dips, both of which were fantastic. I had the fajitas Jalisco, while my friend opted for the carne asada tacos—both were expertly seasoned and cooked. Our server, Jared, was attentive, offered great suggestions, and was genuinely pleasant to talk to. Since we are in town for work and often travel, we can confidently say that El Acapulco is top notch. I highly recommend it!

Excellent, excellent, excellent! I mean outstanding. Ordered the Burrito Grande- and it is grande! Asked for it to have ground beef rather than chicken or steak, they did it and everything in it was fresh and well seasoned. Excellent service too, and food came out extra fast. So many Mexican places I've been to in Northeast Arkansas cover all the food in some sort of cheese sauce that is terrible. El Acapulco was the first restaurant I've been to where I could get a nice chile verde dinner and the pork was crispy the sauce was on point and there was no cheese type sauce anywhere. Excellent food I recommend!

I hadn't visited this place since my teenage years. My parents used to take us frequently, and now I have the joy of bringing my own children. I truly love coming here. Perhaps I won't wait so long to come back next time. It's still the wonderful place I remember from my youth.

I had a wonderful experience with both the food and service. I traveled from Illinois to visit family for Thanksgiving and went shopping, and I'm glad I stopped here. I highly recommend this restaurant for some delicious authentic Mexican cuisine.
