We arrived in time for happy hour. Ordered the 1/2 quesadilla, absolutely tasteless and barely any chicken or cheese. Their salsa had a strange taste for being salsa, best thing about it was it was spicy hot. Stuffed jalapeños were tasteless. Mushy, runny cheese and very bland jalapeños. The cheese, chorizo dip didn't have any chorizo in it, bland as everything else was. Ordered 3 taco platter with hard shells. Came out on soft shells. Very hard to get the servers attention. 2 other servers came by our table and tried to help but didn't understand hard shells. The Good:We were seated immediately and the waitress was pleasant. My wife and I were immediately given delicious chips and salsa and asked what we wanted to drink. The atmosphere was nice. The waitress was attentive and efficient, and the food was delicious. The agave nachos, were honestly my favorite part.The Bad:Now, the reason why I did not give this place 5 stars is because the food was just warmish. It was weird. Do not let the exterior, or parking lot fool you. This place has alot to offer inside, I'm upset I didn't try it sooner! We visited on a Wednesday and they had awesome all night happy hour deals! Margaritas were definitely strong that you probably only need one, or two max. I highly recommend their flauntas, but honestly all their food has been good. Their prices range from $14-20 for entrees which may include rice and beans. They have a pretty large bar, but also open seating for anyone who comes with a larger group. So far, I have not been disappointed and definitely recommend anyone to come try out their happy hour for sure.
Second time here and I’m afraid this is going to become a habit ?. This time I got the quesadilla which my daughter loved and ? ?. If I had to rank the ? ? it would be barbacoa (perfect), chorizo, 7/10 then Al pastore 5/10 (a bit chewy). The service at the bar was very good as was the drink I had while I was waiting for my order. El Agave is definitely a place worth frequenting?

This place opened the same year I moved here and it has been wonderful. Staff are friendly, attentive and overall helpful to each other which is unusual these days. Food is great. salsa is spicy and I haven't found anything on the menu that I do not like it. Their al pastor tacos are amazing.
Had some take out orders. Great service, delicious foods. Convenient location right off of Baltimore National Pike. Spacious seating areas inside. The 1-star deduction was because there was something inside the salad that doesn't belong there, and was not food.
I had the best time here. Best drinks and awesome staff. The food was incredible! I ordered the Birria tacos and the consume provided was so delicious. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for great food and drinks for a reasonable price to come here!
Bar is the best place to be at! Great priced drinks, we go every taco Tuesday, gotta have the margaritas with the street tacos. Ceviche is good but could be a bigger portion. Street tacos are my go to!

This Mexican restaurant is great. Food and staff are amazing. Happy hour is great check their website for specials. The birria tacos were awesome.
Nice spot for good tacos and drinks. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely will visit again.
