El Bucanero - Reservar una mesa

Great traditional Segovia 's style food. Unfortunately, too touristy. To the point that service might have lost quality to make give a faster service so they can double tables. Top choices are 'cochinito ' little pork, 'judiones ' beans soup, and 'pata the cordero ' lamb leg. However, all are precook so they will be serve to you within minutes. On our experience, we where asked about desert while we were eating the main dish. That 's not the service I want to have when I 'm paying 40€/person in a restaurant. Service was below expectations.

Although the Cochinillo was super tender, it barely had any taste. The vegetables were mushy and the ice cream clearly came from a box. The only thing that tasted really good was the bean soup. Given, we came here with a tour group, so maybe that was the reason the food wasn't great.

This restaurant serves food extremely fast with decent taste. Good for a quick lunch break. But make sure to check your bill when you pay! We found they replace one item with something we didn't order. I hope this just happen to be a mistake.

randomly stopped for lunch and def don't regret it. everything we ordered* was amazing and the free olives were the best I ever had. *morcilla aka blutwurst fava bohnensuppe and traditional kastilische suppe

eating is local kitchen and great. the servings will leave you full. coffee and wee go well, maybe on the price.
