El Camaradu Coffee Roasters Tostador De CafÉ [not Coffee Shop/no Es Cafetería]

This place came highly recommended by Nerja’s most popular manicurist (Ella Nails who goes there every weekend......so we decided to check them out and we are glad we did! They made my coffee exactly the way I wanted it and their home made cakes are yummmm and I also tried their matcha latte and was surprisingly impressed (we have spent 6 months living in japan so our standards for matcha latte are not easy to meet; . I love that this place is run by the owners who are so much a part of this community and who love what they do!

I found El Camaradu because I wanted to find a speciality coffee roaster in the Nerja area, so when I discovered Radu I couldn’t believe my luck. Radu roasts the best coffee in Nerja, by a long way, offering an excellent choice and expert knowledge (and sometimes a few chords on his guitar). It’s also a beautiful setting to enjoy a coffee whilst looking over Nerja towards the sea. I also buy his whole beans which work perfectly in my espresso machine and moka pot at home.

Esta es una joya de un lugar con una gema de un propietario. Super relajado y genuino ambiente. Radu se puso a disposición para una charla encantadora a pesar de ser un hombre ocupado. El mejor café que hemos tenido en España (y creo que hemos estado en un montón de cafés de especialidades). Podemos recomendarlo. Gracias de nuevo y te deseamos todo lo mejor con todo. ¡La próxima vez, cervezas con nosotros! ¡Salud!

When I came across El Camaradu I didn't know I was gonna try the best coffee in a long time. Radu showed me his roasting machine, imported from Italy and he guided me through his passion for fairtrade coffee from all over the world. This cool little hut in Nerja is unmissible for anyone who is passionate about coffee and wants to enjoy interesting chats in the sunny terrace. Highly recommended!

I was instantly drawn to El Camaradu by the positive reviews online. I was staying in the area from the UK and needed to get my speciality coffee fix. Radu (the owner was extremely friendly and made easily the best coffee in Nerja! I visited in October and will be sure to visit again. Cheers Radu! :

Radu es un Barrista súper agradable y apasionado. Teníamos el mejor café que podíamos encontrar en Andalucía y grandes alternativas como el algarroba caliente y la infusión de café seco. ¡Los croissants y la atmósfera general también fueron excelentes!

Not a coffee shop, as the description says! The lovely owner has switched to just being a roaster, but he was gracious enough to greet us and sell us some of his DELICIOUS beans some of the best coffee we’ve had.

If you are into specialty coffee this is the place to go!! There is a small cafe (two days a week) and a possibility to take beans home! Great prices too!
