El Cid brings you authentic Mexican food. The service was friendly, quick, and very good. The staff is cheerful and always around tending to you for anything you need. I ordered a Chicken Fajita and it was probably one of the best Fajitas I've ever had. Spicy and very flavorful. We enjoyed their pico de gallo salsa that were served with chips. They're unlimited refills. The salsa too is spicy and quite flavorful. We ordered a few pitchers of Cadillac margaritas and they were very nice as well.
Popular, unassuming restaurant serving good Mexican food. The lengua (tongue) in the taco was so supple, it's like jelly. Unfortunately, they did not put in much of any seasoning. The warm chips and salsa that came when you first sit down are very good, especially on a chilly evening in the hills.
We stopped for quick Mexican food and were not disappointed. I tried the vegetarian quesadilla. It was really good; served with avocado, chips and salsa. The service was quick and they were practical about their portion sizes, helped us make quick decisions 1 veg quesadilla was good for 2 ppl.
I love El Cid! The chips and salsa are my favorite with a cup of albondigas. The spicy salsa is 9/10. I also like the hard shell shredded beef tacos. The rice and beans are a little flavorless. I think they need to work on that. Other than that will return! Reserva una mesa ahora
