El Corner Del Taulat

We visited this restaurant on our first night in Barcelona, as it was close to our hotel and there was a storm. Despite this, we had higher hopes for the restaurant than were met in reality, as we had at least seen a few good reviews and promising pictures. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasnt just okay... it was BAD. They had no drinks menu, and on the tapas menu there were about 5-6 dishes that had been removed. This left not much choice, but what there was wasn’t worth it at all. We had Patatas bravas, which was undercooked and covered in far, far too much sauce, tomato bread which was stale and overly sugary, and king prawns which were over cooked and under-seasoned. Despite the fact that we were one of just 2 groups in the restaurant, service was very slow and fairly rude. Overall I would urge all to avoid this restaurant, and if you’re thinking “ah, it might be okay, we’re in a pinch so it will do...” then please re-think things.

we arrived at our hotel , Attica 21 and it was hot and needed a beer, as we had to wait to check in , we went for a walk and on turning the coner we came across this little bar, we had the local beer ,cold and refreshing and hit the spot, staff were friendly and their was an easiness about the place, very comfortable. we had some tapas and loved the patatas bravas, so handy and a little nightcap had on some return trips from barcelona

Stayed in Barcelona for 2 nights, ended up here 4 times! I think that speaks for itself, staff are brilliant and food just as good, couldn’t recommend this place any more!

Tapas, sangria is great. Really lovely relaxed atmosphere sat outside and reasonably priced. Came her twice in two days. Would defiantly recommend to anyone!

We have a diner there. It was excellent. Everything was ok, the food was delicious and freshly made, the service was perfect.
