Food was very average, had burrito and chili relano , no cheese on either The sauce on both tasted like it was tomato sauce straight from can. The food was very bland, West DesMoines has several very good Mexican restaurants and this one in lower tier.

As good as it gets for Mexican Cuisine. Delicious only begin to describe the menu. Outside seating available in season. Even the drinks are above average. If you like Mexican food, put it on your list!

Close to our home and close to our hearts! Nice date with the Mrs. and dinner was lovely on the patio. Mangonado was amazing and we will definitely be coming back! Muchos Gracias!!

We have not been disappointed once. The food is fantastic, lots of flavor, fresh and the drinks pack a punch! I have not been to any other Mexican restaurants since El Fagon opene.

Food here was amazing! Jaime was our waiter, he not only was quick and there whenever we needed something but was very friendly. I would recommend this El Fogon in a heartbeat!
