We visited on a whim and were delighted by the unpretentious atmosphere, friendly service and authentic dishes: anchovy hors d'oeuvres, a great slaction of meat, fish and vegetarian tapas, the paella with chicken and chorizo was an excellent centrepiece, followed by lovely ice cream. Wiith service, drinks and corkage the cost was just shy of £25 per head.
This charming restaurant has a cozy family atmosphere. If you're seeking high-end dining, this may not be the spot for you. However, if you're in search of genuine Spanish cuisine and warm hospitality, look no further! Guillermo and his daughter are incredibly friendly and accommodating. A visit here is definitely recommended.
first there is no question about this place, terrible eating. my gott, most terrible experience and it's my fault I thought I booked space in the city and was wrong place. really unpleasant experience they need to have an asbestos and likes to experience better. I ruined my evening.
Had the most amazing lunch at El Gusto today. The Chicken Chorizo Paella is the best I have ever eaten and the most amazing Tortilla. Excellent service and a quaint little restaurant. If you want authentic Spanish food I would recommend you go to El Gusto. Reserva una mesa ahora
Went to El Gusto last night. We ordered the veggie tapas platter to share. Was delicious. Lovely wee place.Very friendly and the service was excellent. Our waiter was so attentive and his customer care was brilliant. Will definitely be back.
absolute belt of a tapas restaurant, eating is exceptional with the paella the best I ever try anywhere in europa, owner guillermo is top class owner and treats it as if you sit in his living room with tapas el gusto is a paradise for food
The main selling point for this I must add is the BYOB... However, the restaurants food was incredible. Half the price and double the standard of the larger chains. A real gem, and if I'm ever back in Glasgow I will return.
Absolutely delicious food, wonderful atmosphere in a cosy pretty place. BYOB with small courage is always a major bonus (and bank balance friendly) can't wait to come back, too many things to try in one sitting!! Reserva una mesa ahora
Great authentic Spanish food that we had delivered to our home. Had set menu for 2 which had lots of tapas as well as paella. Plenty of food. Very pleased with meal, will certainly be back again!
