An expensive mistake: I?m giving one star only because you can?t do negative 5 stars (you got to change this Goggle . I will start that our waiter was wonderful- avoidance at times but great, I feel sorry for him having to work here. The beans were diluted, bland and mush- definitely not fresh. I ordered the Carne Asada, as you know it?s thin steak, it was over cooked, no seasoning- bland. And both our food came to us cold- we waited 40 min for our meal. The rice was so horrible we could not even eat it- no where resembled or tasted like Spanish rice. We ordered margaritas with the Corona in it, the first batch tasted like water, the second attempt they just added margarita mix and was horrible x2 and they both are weak. The salsa is water down, there?s next to no chunkiness to it or flavor o rheat. There is not enough space here to begin to write about my wife?s horrible food. How in the world did this place get the ratings it has?, I have no idea. I come from a Hispanic background and this place/food is just horrific. I spent over $50+ for horrible food. AND, they CHARGE a FEE to use ANY cards(? El Loro is the worst food and restaurant I?ve ever been to, period!

I called to make a pick-up order, but I was told to keep before my order. The lady put the phone down and started talking to someone very loud and we could hear the whole personal conversation. She never came back to take our order. He waited almost 5 minutes. retrieved several times over the next 15 minutes and the line was busy. So gave up and ordered elsewhere. Maybe. I will try again in the future or perhaps not. I usually go to Theresa Mexican, but El Loro is closer to my house.

Service was good! She was provisional. Service 4/5. The food was 2/5. The food was well cooked and too much cheese sauce. It was as if they knew that they overcooked it and tried to hide it with cheese sauce. The restaurant was big, so much unused space, was not busy at all. There were some random spots during half the unused restaurant. The bathrooms were kind of rough, flies, the cleaner sat on the counter. Not sure I'd go back.

The best Mexican restaurant in the Plymouth-Brooklyn-Crystal-New Hope- Mapple Grove Area. I bring my family and friends here every special occasion, and even maybe they'll spoil my wedding. They were fast. Smile. Spoke friendly and listened to special requests with the most accurate and speed of each restaurant in the last 2 years. If your local. Try it. I and my Fiancée did it and we do not regret the decision. Not a little.

Good local Mexican food with a bar. Chips with salsa and a creamy ranchy dip served with drinks. Our waiter was very patient as we chatted before the order. You have an extensive menu. You add a service fee if you pay by credit card.
