El Mariachi - Reserva de mesa

El Mariachi has quickly become our go to for Mexican food, my favorite has been the El mariachi fajitas, The flavors were absolutely amazing. Their steak ranchero, is a personal favorite of my family. Chips and salsa are brought quickly to your table, while you make your decision on what you?re going to eat, their margaritas and other drinks are very tasty. I always enjoy my time here. The food and service are excellent. We initially went to another Mexican restaurant down the street, but we didn't realize how poor the service was until we tried to order drinks, so we decided to leave. At this restaurant, we were served quickly, received several rounds of drinks, and even got a complimentary shot for the table. I love the service, the atmosphere, and the queso!

Food was decent, margaritas weren't very strong but good. Once the food was served to our large group (20ish) didn't see the waitress again until everyone was pretty much done eating, and that was to ask about boxes. This group goes there once a month so I decided to go with, wasn't all that impressed. Would only return because of my group, not on my own.

The atmosphere was a great vibe and the food was hot and served quickly. Price was perfect and honestly there simply wasn't anything out of order. That's exactly what I wanted some good tacos al pastor and a quick cerveza and that's what I got. Will be back when in the area! Reserva una mesa ahora

I’m so happy I discovered this restaurant; it has become my favorite Mexican spot in the Des Moines area. I've tried many others, but none compare to this one. The food is outstanding, the service is fast, and it's always bustling with activity.

I might rate this differently in Santa Fe but for Iowa no complaints. Nice quality food for a decent price and the drinks were strong. The outdoor seating was particularly nice.

The tacos carnal asada is to die for. The chips were warm and the pico was fresh. Salsa was okay but not awesome. I come here every time I come to town.
