EL MARIACHI MEXICAN GRILL is expansive, with a large, heated, tent-covered patio. Inside and outside, this sports centric eatery has enough big-screen televisions to support an appliance shop. The restaurant is homage to old Mexico, complete with ridingsaddles resting on the crossbeams in the main dining area. Corn chips, bean-cheese dip and vegan salsa are provided at eachtable. The menu is populated with familiar Mexican dishes. Our server, Orquidea, who has been with the restaurant for fiveyears, described the ingredients of the many dishes on the menu. What is wrong with the valet parking here??? Terrible experience from the beginning. I didn 't want to valet my car because my baby was crying, I parked in the parking lot next to the restaurant while my baby calmed down and he followed me. He went to charge me 7 dollars on a Thursday at noon even though he didn 't park my car. My friends arrived and he even wanted to charge my friend who parked on the street! This dude 's name was George. He asked me if my friend no se iba a alinear para pagarle . Very rude. Muy llevadito. The food at El Mariachi Grill is excellent, and the portions are quite generous. The complimentary chips served with salsa and a delicious Peruvian bean dip made with cheese and jalapeño were a great start. I also enjoyed the Taco Paseados (bean tacos) topped with cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, and guacamole; they were very tasty and made for a filling appetizer. Our server, Jose, was attentive and courteous. I appreciated the atmosphere as well—entry is through a large outdoor covered dining area that has been transformed from a parking lot with artificial turf, making it surprisingly comfortable. There’s also indoor seating available. I’ll definitely be returning!
Service was great, Mariachi was great, food was delicious…BUT! when we were about to pay, the waitress swapped our credit card(which is red) with a red gift card and maybe thinking we wouldn’t noticed. That was extremely weird also because when Itold her she gave me the wrong card back, she immediately took my CC out her pocket clearly knowing she had taken it onpurpose. That was extremely shady and suspicious. The 1 stars are for her actions. I don’t remember her name, it was a Sundayafternoon. The review isn’t about the restaurant but be on alert of things like that. I don’t take stealing, fraud, theftlightly. She’s probably done it in the past

The food was atrocious, I ordered the El Mariachi spicy fajitas but it was just regular fajitas and all the veggies were burnt! Meat tasted like crap, supper thin slices and they gave Chipotle sauce on the side! Server was like we always served it on the side! My girl chose the meat enchiladas and there was about a table spoon of meat on each! No flavors or what so ever! All you can taste was paprika! Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
This place is terrible. The valet stold a few of my personal belongings! I got my Gucci glasses and money stold from my car! How unprofessional of a company. I still gave the valet a super good tip and this is what I get in return? I’m so upset I spoke to the owner from the valet he was no help calling me a liar, this company needs to do something with their unprofessional employees. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
El Mariachi Grill offers tasty food, but I’m giving it 3 stars because the staff could be more attentive and welcoming. The menu is appealing, but considering the high prices, it would be nice to have a self-parking option instead of only valet parking.
El Mariachi Grill, located on Ventura Blvd, boasts a wonderful ambiance. I was happily surprised by the tasty chicken wings and the Fajita salad. The atmosphere is lively, and the food is exceptional. I will certainly come back when I'm in the vicinity.
