First, let me say the food was beyond great! Flavor was spot on and the portion exceeds the price. I highly suggest calling in an order for pickup which is what we plan to do going forward. The service was absolutely horrible. I have worked as a server, bartender and manager down in the myrtle beach area for a while so I understand sometimes things can 't always be perfect and we all have off days but this was rough. We were a party of 5 and they werent very busy. Our entire party got sick from the food, and not to mention they wait til AFTER you are done eating to tell you they automatically take $15 for a tip because of new management . The food was gross and the restaurant was a mess. I got 1 drink the whole hour we were there and was never offered a refill until we were getting up to leave. If I could give it 0 stars I would

We were in Mount Olive, NC, for a softball tournament and wanted to find a sit-down restaurant. We found El Mazatlan and fell in love. The atmosphere was nice and our waiter was so patient. He had a very calm demeanor and answered all questions with a smile. The portions were out of this world! We all have leftovers that are enough for a nice meal.

We had to ask multiple times for napkins and never got them. The food was very greasy and hurt my stomach. I had to get up to get a refill and our ticket so we could leave not realizing they changed us double for some things until after our card was ran. To me it was much better the way it was. I can always tell if the food is worth trying by the salsa and queso and I should have took the hint and they haven't cleaned the table yet,looked at the plates left and majority of the food was still on the the plate. I still order but not good at all. New management but old management food was better

I used to love this place. Awesome food and everyone was so friendly. Went in last week,,and the whole place is totally different.All the staff has completely changed. Did they change management? They even painted the inside a white color,, feels like a school cafeteria.Where did my friends go?

food was delicious, cheese on my burrito was honestly excellent. beans were also very good. waitress was one of the nicest waitresses i’ve ever had she was so kind. so glad we decided to come here while passing through.
