My daughter used to go to this place when she was in college but it was in a different location. She wanted to go back and try it again while visiting me. It was a Saturday afternoon and sad to say there was only one table of 4 in the place. Our waitress was very friendly and seated us as soon as she saw us. We started off with the White cheese dip. It was good. I had the tacos Carne Asada (3) at $7.50 but I swear the menu said $5.50 because it was just the tacos, no rice and beans. They are generous with the meat but it had no flavor and was dry. I had to squeeze lime on it, salt it, and add salsa. I asked for pico gailo and they charged me $2. The servers were very pleasant and the food was served quickly. Unfortunately, it was the absolute worst Mexican food I 've ever eaten. Ever. The enchilada sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce (I even gave my friend a taste, who confirmed it tasted like spaghetti sauce). The tamale had that distinctive microwave flavor from being heated quickly (and it was that weird fluffy, hard texture you get from a microwave). We stopped here on our way through town while on a road trip and I have to say, I feel sorry for people living in this town if this is your idea of a Mexican restaurant. Oof...
Ordered lunch special at 1:10. Finished our meal finally got check. The waitress was also serving as the cashier. When paying she said lunch special time was over. She said we would have to pay regular price because we were paying after 2:00. Never heard this one before. So the moral of this story is , I don't eat there at anytime of the day with friends or just my wife and I. I'm done ! ! Leonard Downes
Fast service, large selection of all your favorite Mexican lunch specials and dinners. Plenty of crispy chips and good salsa come quickly and complimentary. Our order came correct, hot, generous and delicious. Priced right. For Mount Olive it's one of my favorite places to eat. The restaurant is casual and well worn. Floors were a bit slick on this rainy day. Felt greasy slippery.

This place is seriously nasty. Service is ok, not great. Food had clearly been cooked hours ago then warmed up in the microwave. Just so bad. Have to pay at the front of the restaurant, server doesn't tell you. Over priced for how gross it is. Also no margaritas?? Don't go here. It's the worst Mexican I have ever had.
Whatever happened here was for the best. After not eating here for several years we decided to give it a try again. So glad we did. Its so much better than it had previously become. I don't know what changed but they don't need to change anything else.
This place has been on wral news for inspection gone bad. I don't suggest it but if that's what you want to eat go right ahead.. I have personally heard so many bad reviews it's not even funny
This my goto Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent and they have special during the week. Even at 1/2 capacity, just to say thanks to their customers. Just good people.

friendly service awesome food and atmosphere. Just bought a home here in mt olive. This will definatley be one of our spots to EAT.
