This place is actual garbage. So many better Mexican food places around this area worth spending your hard earned money on rather than paying for extremely mediocre, overpriced, food at El Merendero. Paid over $13 dollars for a regular asada burrito. All of the meat was jammed up to one side of the burrito, it consisted almost entirely of under-seasoned rice and beans, and honestly felt like I just paid money to be served slop. Mind you, the order also took over 20 minutes to make while there were only three other customers besides myself there. The cooks could be seen in the kitchen watching TV for like 10 minutes after my order was taken. Never coming back here again!
I ordered to go and my daughter picked it up when I opened it everything was soggy and cold we live 2 min away, and I paid for plates that I didn't order , when I called to complain the lady argued with me and was very rude ,.horrible food and horrible service !!! Paid 60$ for horrible food
I placed a phone order, when ready for pick up, it was incomplete(order of pancakes)and asked for another 25 minutes to have it ready so l just got what they had already.. Hostess was not very friendly, when l got home there was no tortillas for the Menudo plate. Not a pleasant experience.
Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. No idea why anyone would say otherwise unless they have never had Mexican food. I live super close and wish it was better.

Service always on point. Menudo everyday and came hot and fast. Parking could be better but who is complaining .. 2 people breakfast $32 no bad.
Food is awesome...I love getting their Nachos con Carne it has this type of Chile Verde sauce that I can't find anywhere else....
