right here at the sea, is the El-Meson playa. after a day of adventure of the holiday we wanted to complete the day with a beautiful dinner. we could park right in front of the restaurant and before we got in, we saw something outside. this is a beautiful restaurant with good eating in a fantastic location, so why the low score? this place could be so much better if they would fix some problems. first, the place is very large, but the parking lot is not large enough, so it was difficult to find a parking place around 18.30. when we were inside, we realized that our reservation had been recorded for 13 as three! a table at the sea was found fast. the fish was perfectly prepared, but we were constantly distracted from a television screen that showed a very chic video that advertises for the restaurant. please turn it off! Nice establishment directly at the beach with view over to the marine monument of Laboe. We were there for the Sunday brunch and had a good time. On the buffet you could find a whole lot of fish and other seafood. There's a variety of desserts as well. Coffee, tea and beer included as well as one prosecco for the start. Unfortunately, the staff does not serve orange juice or any other non alcoholic alternative for those who don't drink prosecco. Not even for the children. You cab serve yourself with small glasses of though... Music would be lovely but it's alright to have conversations. six of us got a beautiful sitting place with stunning views of the sea and the boats that ran in and out. all were satisfied with their meals, but before dessert we were told that the table was reserved for another group and we would have to look elsewhere. what we did, same views, but no support by the staff. then they had to hunt to receive dessert orders. they could do better.
it was the second time that we visited the restaurant el meson near laboe. it is such a beautiful location directly on the sea and on a sunny day you can enjoy the sunset. eating is good, they serve some sorts of local fish, salat, meat etc. the waiters are very friendly. please enjoy it.
