First thing I walk I'm with family of 4 and get 2 bowls of salsa n chips so 2 ppl have to share the bowl like dogs they didn't offer for each of us to have our own bowl just 2 so it's like if your trying to scale back and save money this is a very cheap way of doing that . Not the mountain of food they bring you but the salsa .... So because that and the rude service I will never visit this location again I will patronize other el nopal locations where they will bring you 2 things of salsa and as many bowls as their are ppl . Like for instance the Dixie hwy location or corydon location or Shepherdsville location but this one is toast to me .. wow how fast just general common sense and servic...
Our place that take out order and when I got there I waited forever for my food then when I got my food it was missing the queso on top and the waitress argued with me and disrespected me and was very rude then when I got home and started eating my food I realized that they didn't even put the chicken in my meal and when I called back they didn't want to fix it. I get the same thing every time from El nopal and have never had a problem except for when I go to the one on New cut I've had a problem every single time I've ate there which is three times I do not recommend anyone going here.
I ordered for delivery. Only part of my order was delivered. I called the restaurant and after ive paid for delivery was told i need to come pick up the rest of my order. The part i did receive; half was burned and unedible. Lady on the phone had very uncariing attitude. I will be disputing the charge and i will NEVER eat there again.
Ask for donnie , he's an amazing server especially if you have a large group .this is the New cut road location! 18 year anniversary they gave out free food and free tequila ! Had a wonderful time...

The quality and authenticity of the food has gone down significantly. I was craving Mexican food and a good margarita . My family and I were disappointed.
I mean, really is it worth more than 3 stars these days. Used to feel like I was getting a deal, now it is more expensive than better Mexican food.
Horrible customer service never answered the phone, and they just don't know how to talk to people.
I eat alone at lunch and order tacos street style... tastes authentic. In and out under 30 min.
