I was not satisfied with the food. I chose this restaurant based on the decent reviews, but I was disappointed. First, the rice tasted old and stale. The shrimp seemed unclean, and I was surprised to find salad in the burrito. I didn't expect large pieces of carrots in it either. I only managed to eat a third of the burrito because I was hungry. The dining area was incredibly small, with only three tables, all of which were occupied. The patio offered more space, but it was summer and the heat made for an unpleasant dining experience.
I absolutely love this restaurant! I've been visiting since I was a child, and the food is consistently delicious and made fresh each day. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys seafood. Although I live in Riverside, I make the trip to East L.A. every couple of weeks just to dine here. Food rating: 5/5!
The restaurant offers generous seafood portions and has a friendly staff at checkout. There’s a wide variety to choose from, and while it’s a bit pricey, the flavors make it worth it. However, the cleanliness of the restaurant and tables can be inconsistent. Overall, the food is delicious!
The food was decent, but the service was terrible. They charged me twice for my drinks and were unwilling to refund me. I requested either my food or my money back, and they blamed the issue on the machines rather than taking responsibility as a restaurant.

Mariscos El Paraíso serves delicious food packed with flavor. Their caldos, Ensenada tostadas, and fish or shrimp tacos are all exceptional. This is my go-to place for seafood!
