El Paso Mexican Grill Slidell

Went to the recently opened location on Pontchartrain Dr for dinner this evening. I was excited for them to finally open, as their other restaurant is one of my favorites. The new location did not disappoint at all. The interior is clean an much brighter than when I was Los Tres Amigos, and the food was amazing. I got the burrito loco which has steak, chicken and shrimp, and it was phenomenal. My girlfriend loved her quesadillas and our friend really enjoyed his burrito as well. They offer 3 flavors of frozen margaritas, and make daiquiris to order. Definitely save room for the banana cheesecake in either form. My husband and I absolutely love dining at this restaurant; it’s one of our favorites and serves the best Mexican food in the city! The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is lovely, and Chino is the best server! You won't regret asking for him; he’s fantastic! We can’t wait to come back for another meal soon! Excellent waitress, delicious food, and top-notch service. While it doesn't have that typical senior center vibe, it seems like everyone is having a great time on the dance floor. I had no idea there was a dance floor visible from outside! Who knows, I might be joining them in twenty years. They do enjoy dancing here, too!

Great waitress, great food, great service. Was not use to the senior citizen center type environment but everyone looks like they are having fun on the dance floor. The atmosphere is wonderful, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The salsa is excellent! We ordered the sampler plate and the chorizo queso, both of which were delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. I would definitely return and highly recommend giving it a try!

I might be a bit too generous with my ratings, but it's hard to find a good chimichanga where I live in the Seattle area. This place meets all my criteria for great Mexican food: friendly service, open late, tasty dishes, good margaritas, and reasonable prices.

I was part of a large group, so I understand that mistakes can occur. However, my avocado chicken salad came with cold chicken and, surprisingly, no avocado at all. On a positive note, the margarita was excellent! Reserva una mesa ahora

Very good for a chain. Good drinks, appetizers were excellent and the portions were HUGE!!! Service was a pleasure. All in all a very nice experience!!! Will recommend it and I will return!!!

Angel did a great Job making sure My drinks stayed filled. Very attentive. Will be back.
