During our visit, the restaurant was quite busy, but we were seated promptly. Our server was both friendly and efficient. I ordered a junior cheeseburger, which was surprisingly large—around a quarter pound—and came with plenty of fries. It was delicious! My husband chose a Reuben and claimed it was the best he’d had in a long time. The only downside was the noise level, typical of a lunch rush, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in the area. Service: Dine-in.

On a positive note, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the camaraderie, and the friendliness of the restaurant. However, I was let down by the service and the portion sizes of my meal. I did notice that there were children present later in the evening, and there appeared to be plenty of parking spaces available. I believe there is also a wheelchair ramp, making the restaurant accessible.

Southside is by far the best restaurant in Slidell! I have never ordered anything that I didn't like. All of the decor pays tribute to our local veterans. Wheelchair accessibility: Large ramp at south entrance. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5

Worst ever first tea was water down the salad had no taste and food was just bad will never go back there again. Guess management didn't read this review with their responses but again I will never come back to restaurant again.... Reserva una mesa ahora

The restaurant is very pleasant, and the food is excellent. It's a bit on the expensive side, but definitely worth it. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price range per person: $20–30.
