El Pollo Loco - Reserva de mesa

4/13/24- I came in for Horchata only to find out you don't have it at this location. This after I had ordered and paid for my food. That didn't matter because of the great customer service I received. Christian was on duty and he greeted me on my way in. This is my first time as we don't have Pollo Loco in the Midwest. He was friendly and took time to answer my questions. I asked about discounts, promotions and coupons. He went over the menu and helped me order. Very patient. He treated other customer's who came in after me the same way. Lupe prepared my plate. She gave me salsa, napkins and utensils. I was impressed because not everyone does this. I ordered the new TV advertised grilled chicken guacamole burrito combo. I couldn't find any guacamole in it, saw maybe 2 or 3 specks of avocado. Taste was ok but not because of any guac. I had a coupon for free crispy chicken taco with any combo order. It wasn't the same as the one I used to enjoy. Salsa containers were only half full, same for the bag of chips. I could have had a MUCH better lunch from MANY other places for $15!

There have been two occasions where I go for a combo that is available on the website and upon arriving at the place when I go through the window they tell me that they don't have that combo. I don't know if it's to induce me to buy other things, but if the combo is on the website it's because it's available, and I showed it in an image to the girl and she only said that it wasn't in that store. and on Google maps it says yes

This place raised the prices like crazy in recent times. And also, I noticed, the female workers make fun of people in Spanish, as if other people don't even know the basics of Spanish. Reserva una mesa ahora

The staff is friendly and quick with the service. We love El Pollo Loco for street tacos and the burritos are awesome.
