that was my first time here, so did not know what they are known for, only the 4.8 star rating. on Wednesday night they were half full. I ordered the edamame and mixed tempura dinner that came with suppe and salat. the edamame has been reconsidered and undointed, so I didn't eat much. the miso suppe was really good, and the salate is okay. I was really surprised when the tempura came out because there were 4 clogged and only a few nice. in contrast to 99% of people I like much more veggies and just a few garnels for protein. the texture could have been crispy because I've met a few soggy battery spots. the taste was okay. I will go back and try other dishes. this time I will read the reviews...

We have been frequenting this restaurant for years. It's still the best sushi and Japanese cooked dishes we've ever tasted. We've even had the pleasure of dining next to a sushi chef from Mikuni on a couple of occasions. The quality must be top-notch! It's a small, family-owned restaurant, so be prepared to be patient with the service.

authentic Japanese restaurant. family owned and operated. beautiful and tasty eating. highly recommended a reservation and pre-order. they can ensure the seating and plan the evening accordingly. it is very small and has a sushi cook. recommend this place all the time. I've never had anything I didn't like.

This is the most authentic sushi experience I’ve had in the Sacramento area. Sushi was beautiful and fresh, service was warm and the waitress was extremely nice. Can’t wait to go back again.

this place is super sweet, the sushi was delicious, they could say it was a real family place. the fried soft-shell collar was so good. the prices were appropriate for quality.

This is an amazing restaurant! My partner and I had a wonderful dinner here. It's a hidden gem with limited hours, so it's best to make a reservation and order ahead of time.
