My sister and I went to lunch today and it was a total disaster. I waited to order 10 minutes behind 1 person. I suppose the manager who was there today was from another place because he didn't know where it was. When I finally could give up my order, he rushed through and after I paid, he disappeared about two minutes before he gave me my reception. The bottom of the beverage dispensers was so sticky that you could hardly walk through the area. The napkins smelled like mildew and our salads were $10 nothing was fresh. I’ve been experiencing consistently long wait times in the drive-thru lately, but what really bothered me was the rude and vulgar behavior towards the woman I was with. When she tried to raise concerns about food handling and cleanliness while we waited inside, they even told her to "go somewhere else." Not only was she offended, but it also tested my patience—especially since it was my suggestion to come here. After visiting for years, I won’t be returning, and I’ll be sure to warn everyone I know to steer clear of this location.
Don't go there, though the price went up everywhere for everything, some restaurants give you less food such as El Pollo. Unfriendly staff who gives less food than before which cost more. Terrible! It was my dinner... chicken tostada bowl. I am hungry again and trust me I don't eat alot. Montclair I used to go to often. And they give you your money's worth. I can't speak for nowadays tho because I have not gone in a long time. Anyway try Montclair or another location. Or go elsewhere for Mexican fast food.
Since the pandemic, I've noticed that the drive-thru wait times have increased significantly, often leaving you waiting for several minutes. Even when there are no customers inside the restaurant, it feels like the staff isn't moving as quickly as they used to, which can be quite frustrating. Sometimes, it feels like the wait for just one order takes forever. If the place were busy, I could understand it, but that hasn’t been the case lately.
Management should look at the low ratings of this location. Person at the cashier was new and I can tell that he was not properly trained. Had to keep asking everybody for questions. There was no one in the dining room inside yet it was dirty. Both on the floor and tables. This place needs keep up the cleaning and better train their employees
Awful Waiting Experience! I highly advise against visiting if your car's air conditioning isn't working well. I waited an exceedingly long time for my food at the Lollo Loco drive-thru. The cashier also seemed to be in a bad mood. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience for my first time here.
