El Ranchero - Reserva de mesa

I've been coming here for 25 years or more, and I absolutely love it! The service is quick, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is fantastic! There's a great variety on the menu, and the portions are generous. This place never lets me down! While it's not the fanciest spot, it's clean and comfortable. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive! The surrounding neighborhood is undergoing several renovation projects, and I can't wait to see how nice it will look once they're completed.

I don’t know what happen...... prices went up a little at first. Didn’t mind because I loved the place. Then they started minimizing the amount of food they give you. This place was always known for how good their food was plus how reasonable the prices for the amount they gave. I ordered tacos today it was barely meat in the taco. Going to stop the amount of times I come here. This place has been around to long to change things now...!!!!!!

Been going here for 25 years or better. Love it! Quick service, very affordable, and the food is outstanding! Nice variety on the menu with hearty portions! This place never disappoints! Not the fanciest place but clean and comfortable! Waitresses always nice and attentive!! Neighborhood is undergoing several remodeling projects and will be very nice when finished.

This is a fantastic spot for a meal in East Chicago! I was surprised to find it nearly empty at dinner time. I tried the steak torta and the chorizo taco, and both were delicious—definitely not greasy like you might find in some other places. I'm giving it a 9.5 out of 10! My daughters and I were warmly welcomed at the door. The waitress smiled and wished my daughter a happy birthday upon noticing the balloon at our table. She was very attentive, and the food was fantastic—I really love the menu here. The atmosphere was enhanced by great music coming from the jukebox. I had a wonderful morning!

My family went their because we wanted Tory out a new restaurant, I had the beef tacos with rice.The tacos were good at first but the aftertaste was very non appetizing I could only eat 2 bites!! If you want real good Mexican food go to Tres Palms!,their food is so good and their rice is fresh and well made.

My siblings and family celebrated my birthday at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the portions were generous. While the atmosphere isn’t particularly unique or trendy, it is quite comfortable. I would definitely return!

My siblings and family celebrated my birthday here. The food was great. They give you a heaping portion. It's not fancy or has a new look but it's comfortable. Will come back.
