El Refugio - Reservar una mesa

The last experience of a service is usually the one the costumer takes home. In this case, a very nice meal is kind of ruined by the fact the restaurant's policy is that they don't serve coffee (I guess lower profit). This is a bad experience for the customer considering there is no nearby alternative to drink a very much needed after lunch coffee after in typical hot summer day.

We have had the opportunity to visit this restaurant on a few occasions and each time we found that they have wonderful food and service in a casual setting that is great for lazy lunches. The food selection was very good and from our experience everything was prepared fresh and looked very appetising. We recommend this restaurant as a staple for Zahara.

Absolutely incredible view of the beach/sea from the table. Tortillas de camarones to start, cazon de adobe and gallo frito all very fresh and tasty. Friendly staff, wine was good! Only gripe, all three course were accompanied by carrots! Would have been nice to have something else as a side on at least one of the dishes, but we would come again!

Expensive and limited menu.we had arroz and garbanzas it was nothing special. Its on beachfront nice setting and has typically Spanish decor and service was good. It is very popular as there's not many alternatives nearby but I can't recommend it really was expecting better food. Maybe we chose badly from menu

Great food with great service really enjoyed the rice with tuna and prawns. Staff really friendly and attentive. Top place for beach restaurants
