We had a great meal. Everything we ordered was delicious and we had a difficult time making choices among so many yummy-sounding options. I love the open kitchen. The only thing that gave me pause was the sight of a large stack of what looked like pre-made Cubano sandwiches wrapped in plastic and stacked atop a convection oven. Since the sandwich is one of the hallmarks of Cuban cuisine I would expect that each one would be made to order but it didn't appear as thought that were the case. We did not order one mainly for that reason.
I really want to like this place more, but it is expensive, very loud, and 2 of our dishes were very salty. I'll go back after a time. do not know what they can do with the current device to respond to the noise level.
El Sapo Social Club has the most amazing Cuban food. The flavors are bright, fresh, and delicious. Drinks are also spectacular. Among the best restaurants in the DC metropolitan area.
great eating, mojitos and service, but the noise level is from the charts. I propose to turn the music a lot so that the guests can enjoy a conversation instead of screaming.
