We had some place else to be at 7p, decided to find a restaurant when we got close by. I love Mexican food, but rarely find authentic Mexican food in Jersey. The waitress was very welcoming, no hurrying us... juat kindness. We ordered guacamole, shrimp tacos and grilled steak enchilada both w/ rice and refried beans. YUM Honestly it was all delicious! The guac was served with the pit in the bowl, to certify the freshness! Perfectly seasoned and generous portions enough for lunch the next day. And trustworthy! My husband realized a half hour after dinner, he left his wallet at the restaurant. They had it, held it and we picked it up before closing. My brother is coming to visit at the holiday...

We were looking for a Mexican Restaurant in Highland Park to eat dinner and we found this place that's still open late. We ordered Chicken Fajitas and Bistec Encebollado. The chicken fajita meat is soft, moist and taste great with sautéed sweet peppers and onions, it's delicious. The beef Bistec was thinly sliced but dry and a bit hard. Well lighted and nice decorated Mexican Restaurant. Service staff a one man team. He's the Cashier, Bus Boy and Server. He's friendly and attentive. But make sure that you ask for the latest price since their menu is not updated. Limited parking space and street parking is not metered parking.

Great find in Highland Park. Their Steak tacos are always delicious. Tender meat and fresh cilantro/onions. Their tacos Al pastor have a great sweet and spicy flavor combination. To top it off, their salsa verde and guacamole are on point! Reasonable prices, great service, and fresh food!
