All in all, a pretty good experience though it can get expensive very quickly, I can say that you should go here at least once. Our food was cooked very well, the steak in my date's food and mine was some of the best cooked steak I have ever had in my life. So juicy and tender, cooked almost perfectly. The plate sizes are also pretty large and you get chips, bean dip, and salsa for the table. You can get cheese and avocado dip but they are pretty expensive. Everything is going to be anywhere from 12-20$ for a plate on average, which is a good deal for how much food you get. We ended up bringing back a lot of leftovers. Drinks were also very expensive, we spent close to 40$ on just two shots...

Recently ate dinner here for the first time and was not disappointed. Although I was seated right away there was a bit of a wait to get food. They were very busy! The service was great. Although they were so busy our waiter made sure to check on us frequently and make sure we had drinks and chips with salsa and bean dip while we waited. Very friendly staff. The food was amazing. I really enjoy the food at this restaurant. It's pricier than your average Mexican eatery, but it offers a unique experience. Just stepping inside is a treat, as the decor is absolutely stunning. The service is impressive, even on busy days with limited staff. However, I will say that the diabla burrito could use a bit more heat. I'm not sure how high my spice tolerance is, but it should definitely be spicier if it's meant to be from hell, considering how unbearable it is there! On the other hand, the Pina Loca was incredible—I've never tasted anything like it. I might even dream about it; it's that good! Interestingly, I've never encountered a Buddha statue at a Mexican restaurant before, but it was a unique sight at the entrance of this one. El Tapatio features full-service cantinas with some of the tastiest margaritas I've ever had. I absolutely loved their drinks! They also offer delicious food, along with complimentary salsa and chips. I highly recommend trying their fish tacos—delicious! My kids enjoyed their chicken strips with French fries, and I can assure you that your stomach won't be disappointed with the generous portions. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. Where have we been for the last five years? How did we not discover this gem sooner? I found it on Yelp today, and I'm so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was both quick and friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was vibrant and inviting. Our busboy, Byron, was delightful and had a great sense of humor! He especially enjoyed chatting with my Caucasian husband, who speaks Spanish. I highly recommend this place!

Overall, the food was great, but I was disappointed with the chips and salsa, which cost $10. We received only about 20 chips along with a 16-ounce container of salsa. While the salsa was a decent portion, the number of chips was insufficient for the price, which didn’t seem reasonable. Additionally, it would have been better if the beans and rice were served in separate containers.

The Fajita Monterrey was delicious, as usual. The Taquitos were really good, despite being a little soft (delivery it's going to happen). Let's talk about the taco. There was no need for what you sent. It in NO way was a taco. I got 3 shrimp and way too much beans. Not necessary. You could have called and explained the mistake on the menu. Would have been a 5 star.

This is my new fave mexican restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. The quantity is a third higher than other mexican restaurants. The enchiladas and sauce are delicious and the best spanish rice I have ever had. Free chips and salsa upon request. Fan for life! Reserva una mesa ahora

Absolutely wonderful. Check-in system is very efficient, and the staff was amazing, from the second we walked in the door, till we stepped out. Drinks were delicious, the food was superb, and very reasonably priced. We definitely will be going again. Ask for Cruz!!

I ordered the Authentic Pork Carnitas, and it was delicious! The meat was tender and packed with flavor. I also tried the Queso Dip, which was excellent. The Chicken Taquitos were equally tender and flavorful. I will definitely be returning!
