El Tecolote Antojitos Mexicanos Cordoba

We went to Tecolote late evening on a Tuesday. Were met with a smile and great help to chose from the meny, considering both the time of day and how hungry we were. We got a very well prepared guacamole with nachos, homemade, together with a margarita. Very tasty but one will do!! Then two other dishes to share. All very tasty and served with a smile. Jose Luis were great running the “front” of the restaurant and Victor resided in the kitchen.

A little away from the tourist area, but definitely worth the walk! Super tasty, authentic Mexican cuisine. Followed the owner's recommendations and were surprised by a great starter (Totopos El Tecolote their variation of chili cheese nachos), followed by a great main menu (tacos) more than enough for the two of us, for a very reasonable price. Can only recommend!

Excellent traditional Mexican food. A hidden gem you must find. Definitely try the guacamole it won’t disappoint. Huge portions. Staff were brilliant even though the outside terrace was full. Really attentive.

Best margaritas ever, very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, superb food and beverages, and at least as important: clean from kitchen to the restrooms. An authentic experience!

We were kindly welcomed, had a great Margarita cocktail and ordered the combined tacos. Nice people and good food. If you like Mexico, you will like this restaurant!
