El Tejado - Reservar una mesa

We were looking for a handy restaurant during a recent visit to Tenerife and saw this on maps only a 15 minute stroll from our hotel. Her indoors followed a tip on FB to WhatsApp for booking and it worked perfectly really quick response. The...place sits right on a new road but to be fair once the food arrives you don’t notice the road. We weren’t sure how much to order but eventually plumped for 5 tapas between us. When the first plate arrived we immediately thought oh oh we’ve overdone it but we did manage to complete mission food with 5 clean plates. The dishes were absolutely delicious and lovely and fresh. Front of house was a friendly older guy who looked after our needs admirably with a bit of chat too. We both left saying that was wonderful and will defo return for more next time we are in Tenerife.

It was my third time at El Tejado having visited previous years whilst on holiday. The food is home cooked, fresh and delicious. Having tried most items on the menu, you cannot go wrong with anything you order. Sangria is 10 euros for a litre...and made perfectly. There are limited places to eat good Spanish food in the area El Tejado is the place to go for tapas or paella… if you’re anything like me then a selection of both. Staff are great and they clearly work very hard. Bookings are a must!!

Personal muy amable, comer estuvo delicioso, como la cerveza fría y los vinos tintos. Pasamos una velada excelente con la paella de marisco negro como estrella del espectáculo. 10 de 10!

I remember this place 2 years ago, was surprised how different it is now, I ordered Gambironi and Cheese, very delicious, very good service

great selection of tapas, beautiful selection of drinks and fast service. favorit court patatas brave, beautiful sauce covers them.
