El Torito - Reservar una mesa

Good food but annoying service. They are not usually this bad, but this time I went there with my family on taco Tuesday and there were only two guys covering the entire floor where the bar is at. And the back of the corner where my family sat was hot and the AC was broken. First server put us in the wrong place for Taco Tuesday thing saying that Taco Tuesday can be served in any table. Later we were told that this guy is a newbie. So we had to change our seats to where the bar is. A server turned on the fan for us but it was giant and too strong wind coming out so we had to turn that off to eat our food. Our server (old guy) was very friendly and attentive but he just had too many customers...

SO good. Hit the spot for Mexican food cravings. Loved that the menu wasn't packed with options. Just enough choices to perfect each plate. The complimentary chips and salsa were near perfection. The chips are so crisp that there ends up being a lot of broken small bits. Not a bad issue to have though. The salsa was spicy but not too spicy. Portions were generous. Our server was super sweet and attentive. I would have liked to have more Mexican food options on the kids menu. The table made guacamole is what brought us in and it didn't disappoint either. We lived in Pasadena for years and never tried here. Now that we've moved and tried it we are kicking ourselves for not checking it out soon...

El Torito has mostly excellent food. The chips and salsa they bring to the table before you order are some of the best you will ever have. The salsa is rich in garlic, tomatoes and chili. The sauces they use in their enchiladas and other entries are also flavorful. Their fajitas are sort of hit and miss. Sometimes the chicken breast is too dry and at others, the beef is not properly marinated though the grilled onions and green peppers are consistently good. Their ice cream cake is a real treat.

This is by far one of the best El Toritos I was with. I came here a weekday, so it wasn't very busy. We immediately sat in an area of our choice. Our server was very friendly without being too much. I ask for changes to my meal, but I didn't have too many options on the menu. The waitress was very receptive and made sure that no dairy products were on my plate. The attention to detail and other recommendations was above what I expected. A great experience and will definitely return.

Love this place, went with some friends from Guatemala and they love it, food is so delicious, and the waiter Randy, he is so amazing, so attentive, he was always kind and wondering if we need something, he really took care of us, definitely going back to the food, and I will ask Randy to be my waiter again. It feels so good and important when they treat you like a license, so he makes us feel.

I found this gem on my trip to the Rose Bowl Parade in 2022. I was blowed away with a service, the variety on the menu and the quality of the food. I wish they would expand ESt to Denver! Go there, and sit at the bar! The two older guys that were working are absolutely hilarious, and gave me a bunch of good tips about parking for the parade!

My wife and I have been coming to El Torito for a few years and enjoy their good Mexican / Fusion cuisine. All they do is fresh from scratches and made to like their Margarita drinks amazingly good, the one thing we like is the dessert really good.

Decent food, but over priced. The sweet corn cake is really good but the amount they put on the plate is tiny. Salsa is good. I had the enchiladas rancheras (cheese) and my husband had the chicken sizzling enchiladas.

Went to this Pasadena, El Torito is due to their emails, promotion $8 Saturday breakfast. I had the Carne Asada eggs, my wife had the Chilaqilles. Both plates were large and decent parts. I'll try other plates again.

I love this location, big, clean and good customer service. The brunch w unlimited mimosas is amazing. The food selection is good. The **** Mary and margarita are only $5. Parking easy to find.
