A small group of friends called for our lunch on Father's Day. We were greeted warmly, our drinks order was taken and we were given time to check out the menu. Having eaten here previously we knew the standard and what to expect, as before the food was well presented, simple and tasty. I really enjoyed the black pudding bites with apple sauce that I had for my starter. A couple of us had roast silverside for our main course. The meat was lean and incredibly tender, (if you enjoy rare meat this maybe not for you! . This was served with carrots, cabbage broccoli and a choice of potatoes. I had it with roast pots. Cannot fault the food, it is fabulous. However, I phoned Sunday 25th June to enquire if table available for dinner was told by, I think, a young male, no. Asked if perhaps one would become available later, was told Nut! What? How rude! Who speaks to potential customers like that? Anyway we decided to drive along 10 minutes later and we got a table. There was actually 4 tables available, 2 for 4 people and 2 for 2 people. So why was I told Nut? Could have been lost business. Fortunately, food is good as are the staff so will return but strangers might not!
Stayed at the Elbow Room for 3 nights with my sister and teenage daughter. The room was immaculate, very well designed and thought out. Beds really comfortable and everything there that you could possibly need. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although it’s above a busy pub there was very little noise. The balcony off the room was a massive tick in the box for us as smokers. Room cleaned and things replenished every day. And the birds in the yard were an added bonus. Will definitely be staying again and would recommend it to anybody.
Best Hotel I have stayed in for a long time, I have been staying at the Hotel for the last 7 months, All the staff were very friendly, Home cooked food was brilliant tasty and very hot, I stayed in all the rooms during my stay all were very comfy and clean, I met in with some of the locals who were all very friendly had a few pints with them, I would definitely recommend this hotel as my experience staying there was EXCELLENT THANKS to ALL (to many to mention) Graeme

We had stopped here for lunch on way home. Was extremely busy but managed to get us a table. The food was delicious. Portions were massive. Plenty to choose from menu and they have a pensioners menu with smaller portions. Staff were lovely and friendly and chatty. Was so good we had family visit the same week and we took them for lunch. Excellent value for money
High tea at the Elbow room Kirkcaldy Good value pub food ,good service nice old pub ,home cooked fresh food steak pie was delicious and home made scones and cakes very nice Would certainly recommend for high tea ,lunch or evening meal good honest food and great value around £30 for two
Central Fife. Great for a stay in the area. Comfortable and clean. Good value. Nice little bar with a very friendly team. There is no doubt you will be made feel welcome here. Continental breakfast available all hours. Ample off road parking. Dogs welcome.
At Last we have found a Wonderful Eating Venue That Gives You Good Hearty Home Cooking so Thank you so good we've been Twice this Weekend Prawn Salad was so Good And The Sweets Were Fab Thank you we will definitely be back

We stayed from Friday to Monday and it was fantastic. The family room we had was perfect. The food there is amazing as are all the staff. We will definitely be staying again. 10/10
