Great lunch specials in a just painted English pub type setting.No problems sitting in the bar area by a wood fire and watching the tv screens etc , a great ambiance exists in this pub , even Darren comes here to eat , so the food has to be good .Keep up the good work all staff and owner of this icon in Geelong.

Lazy Monday, couldn't be bothered cooking. Elephant was close by, good options. The sliders were awesome. I had 1x beef 1x chicken 1x pork and they were all really tasty simplistic but good. Thank god I didn't cook! Will come back for more in future. Would be good with cider

A family friendly place serving standard Aussie pub food which is done well. Good steaks with shoestring fries. Service is efficient and friendly.<br/ <br/ Verdict: Common opal

Both had steak sangas really good quality steak couldn't fault it. The staff really attentive and friendly even the good mayor was there talking away to the punters

My husband and I are regulars and absolutely love the food, ambience and the staff are second to none! I recommend this Hotel highly! The best in Geelong!!!
