While passing through Geelong, I made a stop here with the intention of enjoying a Parmi. My order consisted of 1 Bruschetta and 1 Parmi. It was a tuesday night, and I was surprised to find that it took approximately 40-45 minutes to receive my order, which was a notable delay. Upon receiving my Bruschetta, I was disheartened to discover that it amounted to just a quarter of a roll, sliced. This lackluster portion size left me quite disappointed, especially considering the $16 price tag for the dish. Moving on to the Parmi, it was, in all fairness, acceptable. Service (booking, bar, food) was great. Prompt in getting folks seated. Menu better than older style pubs. Food once ready arrived quickly. Pricing was pretty standard. Wide range of beers, other drinks. Folks appeared to be friendly, enjoying their time at the pub. Parking: Just beside Deakin Wayerfront campus. As students, staff leave at day's end lots of car parking available. Other nearby street parking available but note it's beside Geelong CBD shops etc. Kid-friendliness: Many kids present(school event at Costa Hall) under parent control all seemed adsorbed in family groups. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access around side. Steps at front.

Went Saturday night as we were going to a show at Costa Hall. Fluked a park on the street. Pub was really noisy and we found it cold. They had an event menu which was pretty average with not much choice. I ordered fish and chips which was 1 piece of Hake with chips and salad. It came out quick but with a tonne of salt on it! Sorry but we won 't be back. Price per person: A$40–60

Ordered the calamary with high expectations being the dish priced at $30 but remained unsatisfied due to the poor presentation and for the poor quality of food. $30 for that plate was a total rip off. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1 Reserva una mesa ahora

Highly recommend this establishment. Staff were very attentive. Not a place for those in a hurry. Sit back, relax and enjoy great food in a fabulous atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great meal after a graduation at Deacon Waterfront. The meal was great, place was nice n warm. Open fire. Staff were lovely. Price per person: A$100–120 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

1st time there for dinner. Food a was Delicious the Arancini yummm Great Cocktail choice and great prices. Staff were very friendly, great service. Will definitely be back

Ordered Jack's Special (Secret off menu item) and it was delicious, cannot fault the staff and excellent atmosphere.

Very friendly service and great people. Food was pretty good would have liked more sauce on the wings.
