If there were more stars, they would get them! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and I can't think of a better place to have gone! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere comfortable and inviting, and the food was out of this world! The bar also serves up a lovely Courtyard Punch! Being no stranger to fine dining, there are certain criteria I look for when judging a restaurant. That would be ambiance, food quality ingredients and wait staff. I can wholeheartedly say that Eli's Table is a perfect 10 all across the board. From the moment we entered you could tell that there was something about this restaurant that sets it apart from other fine dining venues downtown. Food was good but the service was absolutely horrendous. Went with my coworker, my boss, and his boss. Yes, my steak was as good as it looked. Everyone agreed I ordered the best, though, and generally the others were happy, but not overly impressed. They were incredibly short-handed when we went. It's hard to fault them for that, but it's totally unacceptable to put in your drink order before your dinner order and not get your drinks until almost a full hour later. After
Had high hopes, but didn?t have a great experience. Menu looked good and our appetizer was great. But unfortunately the service and main corse was lacking. We had to wait an hour and half for our meal. We had a 8:30 reservation and didn?t get our food till 10:15. When we finally got our food my steak was not warm and pretty dry and tough. Spectacular meal. The fried green tomatoes are among the best I?ve eaten, light and crispy and flavorful. The salads were both excellent, and the roasted beets in particular done extremely well. The Foragers? Filet was one of the best steak experiences of my life and the garlic mashed potatoes and haricot verts a great compliment to it. Limited outdoor seating currently but their patio should be reopened next month.
