I just wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Elk Store Winery Distillery and give you a review of their incredible cocktail called the Pineapple Paloma. Firstly, let me start by saying that the atmosphere at Elk Store Winery Distillery was absolutely delightful. The cozy and inviting ambiance made me feel right at home as soon as I stepped through the door. A friend of ours recommended this place?and he was right! If you are looking for a classy bar with a speakeasy vibe, Elk Store is it. They have a great wine selection and a menu of artistic, unique signature cocktails. We visited twice. Both times, myhusband ordered the smoked old fashioned, which is literally placed in a small glass smoking cabinet. So many people order thisdrink that the entire venue smells pleasantly like a campfire. On the first night, I ordered wine, but when we returned, Iwasn?t sure what to get; they have their own gin, whiskey, and rum from the Elk Store distillery, but no vodka. Me and my wife stopped by today on our way back home from our vacation in Kerrville. We want to thank the gentleman behind the bar for taking the time to give us a small tour of the establishment and giving us a brief history. It is incredible. We picked up a bottle of Pecan Pie Moonshine (batch 1, bottle #60) handmade in their own distillery. It's fantastic. If you find yourself in Fredericksburg, TX, you need to visit Elk Store. Rude owner/staff and terrible service. I would leave 0 stars if I could. Very small and cramped space. I brought in a cup of water with ice on 2 occasions and was questioned immediately that it was an alcoholic beverage (it’s 105 degrees outside). This is the ultimate craft spirits spot. All the whiskey I tasted was exceptional and the Old Fashion was one of the best. Todd has an amazing depth of knowledge which he happily shares to any interested individuals. I bought the special reserve whiskey “98” ... I have bottle 66. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Nice bar! The Charter is fantastic. Scott, Todd, Travis and Josh were great guys. We had a great time in the bar with them and their cocktails. Nice place to hang out. By the way, Todd makes a delicious Cuban sandwich. Thank you for a great afternoon!

One of our favorite places to visit in Fritztown! Great craft cocktails! The Brown Derby, Blackberry Manhattan and Old Cuban are masterful! Their charcuterie board is a winner too.
