Taj Indian Cuisine

This was my first visit to Virginia. I entered the state around 1ish and was already starving from 5hrs driving. Looked up 'Indian restaurants near me ' and this was at top. Restaurant has an old school Indian cooking and ambiance to it. Very friendly servers and staff. For appetizer- I had samosa, pakoda and Alloo tikkoi which arrived quickly and was delicious. Had Garlic Naan, Palak paneer, Punjabi dall and my Mom 's favorite, Alloo gobhi for lunch. Rasmali, Gulab Janum and a cake for dessert… superb! Large portions too so, lots of leftovers to take home. Went there yesterday with my parents for dinner! I was craving butter chicken and it was delicious. The naan was so good as well especially garlic naan. The guy who served as was so friendly and helpful! Also the inside was so clean and the sitting was amazing. It was our first time but definitely not the last. RECOMMEND IT!!

Taj is fantastic, but man i miss the sunday buffet. took the son here, amazing. the lamb was amazing. everything we had was amazing. hard to choose my favorite between this and guru. disclaimer-i love indian food.

Super tasty Indian cuisine in a comfortable atmosphere. We had goat, chicken, vegetarian and cheese dishes everything was super fresh and delicious, and the service was wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

Loved food there. Ordered butter chicken, chicken karahi, bullet naam and tandoori chicken.. Everything high quality and super tasty…will surely recommend. What you pay for you get high quality food.
