Ellie's Table At The Egan House

I was eager to try this place and was a bit surprised when there were six employees behind the counter just hanging out. My son, 14, and I ordered. We found an outside table in the shade and had to ask for it to be cleaned. The employee brought a fork but no napkins. I went to get them from the station outside and there were none. Had to go inside to get some. I guess the employee couldn't be bothered to fill up the dispenser. So the food came and it was cold cold potatoes, cold bacon and my breakfast wrap was mushy and cold. In my corporate job, we used Jay's Catering many times and now knowing that's who owns it, I get it. The food doesn't appear to be made to order.....just dished out on...

Such a special place. Service was friendly and the ambiance was unique. It was like stepping back in time and having a fresh and great breakfast in a clean and historical home. I will be back!

After years for driving by we finally stopped in today. Boy am I glad we did I had the chilaquiles an husband had chicken and waffles both were fantastic.

Recently discovered this local jem. Incredible bakery, fresh breakfast and lunch items. Very nice service!
