For fresh coffee, good bread and all kinds of cookies and pies, you're here at the right address and very affordable. From the store, you'll be looking at the bakery. The coffee you can drink on the porch or on the couch outside. Parking can be right outside the door, for corridors very special. You can end up here in the morning as early.

As soon as you step into the bakery the friendly staff make you feel welcome. They're happy to explain ingredients in any of the products and make recommendations. I took home some delicious sour dough bread and a muffin for the next day's breakfast. I was only visiting Salt Spring, but will return to the bakery on my next trip.

Apple pie is next level. Coffee is great too. Ham and Swiss croissant is my new vacation staple. Also ordered a custom birthday cake that was the most moist cake ever just need to have a serious sweet tooth to take down more then one slice of it.

Great assortment of baked goods. The lady that served us was lovely! We purchased several items and all were wonderful! Hours of operation were excellent as a lot of Salt Spring businesses have limited hours. Reserva una mesa ahora

Yes, there is an array of breads, pastries and deli offerings but try the Ginger / pear pie for something new and delicious or the Macaroons to remind you of home cooking (if you were so lucky)!

Embe's opens up at 4:30 am so if you need something early they are there. Coffee, breakfast sandwiches, sausage rolls, chicken pies, donuts etc. Can't go wrong.

I'm sorry but how does anyone give this place less than 5 stars? It's amazing. Get the blueberry turnover or the sugar cookies.

Visited for years. My daughter claims they have the best halloween cookies. Will bake bread to order. Great bakery.

The Trail Bread was my favourite. Lots of other sweet treat options. Also the cheddar scones were very good.
