Had dinner here last night with my family of 4 whilst staying onsite. The restaurant looked lovely upon entry, staff were friendly and attentive and the menu was exciting to view, not just simple restaurant attached to accomodation type fare. This was impressive and did...not disappoint in reality when placed in front of us. My Lamb Cutlet dish with white truffle oil potatoes (the heavens opened and I heard angels singing) with Pomegranate/Mint sauce was decadent and had my eyes rolling in sheer delight. Flavour central! My recent dining experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The pricing for steaks from the meat selection was unclear, and we were not informed of the expensive prices or weights as we made our selection. We were shocked when we received the bill. The noisy air conditioning made it difficult to have a conversation until it was finally turned off. The plain table chairs were adorned with cheap, printed table sets. Overall, it was a very expensive and terrible experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and suggest finding a better dining option in Emerald where you can get a nice meal for half the price.

I recently stayed in this motel on a work trip to Geraldton. Great accommodation with car park right out the front of room. Comfortable and clean rooms. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Now...... the restaurant....... unbelievable food and service. Don’t know where they...found the chef but he is a godsend! No doubt the best meals I have ever had while travelling. Many thanks to Faith for her great service. The lamington ice cream is a must!

We dined here after reading previous reviews. We both had the special of crispy Pork Belly accompanied by fried rice green Veges. The fried rice tasted like cheap packet risotto. The Veges were very minimal overcooked. The Pork was ok but we each...had a huge variation in size. Overall we thought the meal was expensive we both were disappointed expected much better. We had a wonderful stay with our dogs at this restaurant. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially the chicken beech special. We appreciated how well they took care of our dogs. Thank you!

The restaurant used to be a great steakhouse with a small menu offering affordable steak and seafood options. The meal was well-prepared, but unfortunately, the steak was overcooked. The drink selection was good, and the restaurant wasn't busy. The staff was friendly.

great food, great local knowledge and emerald itself is a wonderful place to visit. i imagine that it would be cold in winter, but the facilities would more than compensate for that
