Emmy Squared Pizza: Queen Village Philly

Very nice. Like a good, pre-pandemic restaurant. Food was excellent, service was great and the downstairs bartender was awesome. Haven't really seen a restaurant that had it all together like this in years, but that's another story. Probably due to an alien invasion or maybe we're living in a post-pandemic alternate dystopia that seems to have missed this place. Woo hoo! I'm not telling anyone and keeping it a secret for myself.

Dining experience on the roof is completely different than inside. The server seemed to be on his own with all tables and not familiar with the food whatsoever. 50% of our order was wrong and took very long to replace, and even then, some items were still incorrect. No offer to resolve that by adjusting the bill. The food that came out correctly tasted good, but the experience was off-putting.

The chicken wings could be better in presentation if they we separated and cooked differently either baked or fried. It was a messy plate and they were not tasty. I would not even try them. Everyone at the table was not pleased with them and said they needed to be recooked. Everything else was great (atmosphere, cleanliness, server quality, drinks etc)

I weighed this tiny pizza on a digital scale and inspected it closely for the hidden compartments hiding the gold I assumed would justify its price. I found none just a whole lotta bread (i.e., Detroit style . Nevertheless, the handful of pizza we purchased was good, if scarce. Back to Paulie G 's! Reserva una mesa ahora

Pudding is huge. Taste not overly sweet but sweetness is on point. Chunks of bananas in it! Amazing. Being from NY, I am a pizza snob. And this pizza is on point just as good if not better then back home. Best pizza in Philly! Hands down! Hidden but now found restaurant! Amazing!

Pizza is amazing. Wife loves the gluten free. Claims best she ever had. Last time there had the double cheeseburger on a pretzel roll amazing!!!! Order the fries, pricey but best I’ve ever had!!!!!!!!!!

The people who work there are always so happy and fun! It's just a great place. They're even nice to kids which is a plus! Also, the food and drinks are really good too
