Overall, Talula’s Garden was phenomenal; however, they missed the mark with my daughter’s severe tree nut allergy, which was clearly stated in the notes when I made the reservation. My daughter had the handmade ravioli pasta, which contained pesto. She wasn’t sure initially, but became symptomatic within minutes of eating her meal. Unfortunately, Walnut Street, her shoes, and many pedestrians experienced the aftermath. Thankfully, my daughter is fine this morning and didn’t need to go to the emergency room or worse, perish. What an amazing meal! Everything was fantastic, freshly made and tremendously prepared! We started with the seasonal cheese platter (strawberries, goat cheese and balsamic drizzle) very tasty. Next I had the mushroom soup which was flavorful and simply delicious. Entrees included the vegan option for my wife (it came beautifully displayed and ready to be mixed together. Super flavors all blended together, although the jalapeños were quite spicy. I chose the chicken with Gnocchi. My husband had the Marsala pork chop and I had the crispy branzino. Both were absolutely delicious. He usually isn’t a fan of mushrooms so we’re both were surprised that he ate it all! Our server Kenny was friendly and gave us enough time in between courses. Only thing is the bill was almost $200 just for two people and we didn’t have any alcohol.
She is an icon. Talula's was where I took Mom tonight and holy hot diggity damn this was good. One of my favorites and I appreciate how Talula can consistently make good quality food while switching up dishes and ingredients. 7/5 stars. (bit spency though but I'd argue it's worth it.

Marissa was attentive, knowledgeable, and communicative. Everything was excellent at this restaurant. It was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences in Philadelphia. I hope they will consider opening another location in Newtown or New Hope (Bucks County).
Ambiance is really fun. Garden patio with fun cookbooks inside. The food was outstanding. Loved the cabbage side especially! Branzino skip perfectly crispy. Mushroom soup was great! Gotta get the. Biscuits. Ask for server Francis.
The food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant are exceptional! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere has a cool vibe.
