I finally found a Puerto Rican restaurant worth raving about! I decided to visit with my mom and grandmother around 6 pm (they close at 7 pm). The lady at the counter, Chachi, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We mentioned it was our first time there, and she explained that some items were not available because they were closing soon, like fried sides since they were cleaning the fryer. No problem! They have different daily items, but always have pernil (shredded pork), chicken, rice, and habichuelas (red or black beans). My mom and I tried the pernil with white rice and Habichuelas Rojas, and we cleaned our plates! It felt like being back on the island with the amazing taste. My grandmot...

I was in search of lunch and stumbled upon this restaurant. I parked on the street nearby and walked in to order at the counter. They had a selection of food already prepared, and I chose the chicken stew and two chicken empanadas, one of which had mole sauce. After paying, I left and tried the chicken and mole sauce empanada first, which was okay. The plain chicken empanada ended up being much better. The chicken stew dish was quite satisfying and filling. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant.

First time here, tried the beef, hamburger and pepperoni and the spicy chicken empanada. The beef tasted like hamburger surprisingly, the hamburger was an interesting combo but in a good way and the spicy chicken was SPICY! All were a bit soft and chewy, not crispy fried. The three and a can of soda cost $12.36.

I haven't had coffee this delicious since my Dad used to make it when I was a kid. The empanadas and other pastries are absolutely wonderful. When I walked in, it felt like I was stepping into my parents' kitchen. I love it so much.
