valentineday dinner on this place was so deeply disappointing. I was looking forward to the famous seafood newburg, just to learn that it was not available due to a limited menu for w day. Why do they take one of their signature dishes from the menu on a day like Valentine? that doesn't make sense! I ended up with the baked failure that was dry and flooded with cracker crumbs. I had 3 or 4 bites and then gave up. the waiter/growth service was moderate to say the least. our table was a party of 6 and the waitress that I could add has made there 35 years of 3-4 different references, as she spent too much time on our table, and "I hope I won't be fired '???? she only took our drinks orders when...
We have eaten at Empire Grille several times, especially the baked stuffed lobsters. This time, the amount of lobster in the stuffing was significantly less than historical experiences and at $70 per lobster it was way overpriced. Staffing was too light in proportion of waitstaff to patrons. Waitress was not very attentive, partially as a result of scheduling as she was spread out too thin. We purposely scheduled reservation at 4:30pm to avoid the Thanksgiving Turkey crowd. Patrons near our table were ignored for too long prior to taking their order and one couple was served their soup and almost immediately were served their turkey dinners. Overall very poor experience. We will not return.
that was our first time here. we have chosen this place because he was at the same place as our event in which we took part, and we saw a review that her filled lobster was amazing, and it was just that. by far the best lobster and prime rib I've ever had. not only eating was excellent, but our service was just as good. our waitress was very fast and friendly and placed our orders immediately. in any case will be back!
We recently celebrated my sister’s 75th birthday. Our waiter Michael A was very attentive and went out of his way to make the day a fun event. Food was excellent. The experience was improved because the Empire Grille has staff that help deliver food and clear the tables preventing the patrons from waiting excessively.

eating was absolutely disgusting. they calculated over 60$ for a 1 pfu filled lobster that frozen and fishy. the filling was ritz cracker. nothing was good and tables around us complained. martinis were $10 and were half tall. I'm a big food store and I'd urge someone to never go here.
I was very disappointed with what the menu actually was vs. what was on Venus website. It was a Sunday lunch that my family and I was looking forward too, only to find that the menu was completely different!! The Venus is nothing like it once was. Will not be going back anytime soon.
our waiter, michael was excellent. it was a busy evening (valent,) but eating was excellent and was delivered immediately. we are always very satisfied with empirical grill.
First time and not the last time I will be at the Empire Grille. The atmosphere was great, service awesome, food spectacular. I am already making plans for my next visit!

Hate to judge a restaurant on New Years eve but they could have done a better job. Baked stuffed lobster was good. Prime rib came out cold and had to be sent back.
We were seated right away with our reservation. our waitress was amazing in recommendations and personality!. Food was delicious.
