The food at this restaurant had a good taste and was delivered on time, but unfortunately, it was not cooked thoroughly. The dough was raw. I ordered 2 Stromboli with meat, a hamburger, meatball and sausage with cheese, and dessert. It has been a while since I last ordered from this place, so I want to be fair in my review. I would give them a 4 for taste, price, delivery time, and the delicious sauce. However, I am disappointed that the food was undercooked. I will give them another try and let them know about the issue. I will update my review to see if they can earn a 5-star rating.
We had ordered from Empire plenty of times before. No major mess ups and the food was decent. Last order the girl taking the order was rude, messed up the order, had to call back to confirm card info because she had that wrong too. After the food was delivered I called back to explain the mistake. I was questioned by two woman including the one that took my order originally. At the end of the call they confirmed they would send the driver back with the right ordered item they never delivered it MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
We love Empire Pizza!! Out in Portland we don't have much to choose from, never mind places that deliver and are some what affordable! Empire has never had a mess up with our order, always delivered in great time with hot fresh food and the prices are very reasonable!! And we love that we don't have to always order pizza, sandwiches, dinners everything MMMM ordering right now!!!
Do not order from Empire. The frozen vegetable toppings tasted like they came straight from the freezer, making the pizza inedible and even making me sick. The crust tasted like ground up cardboard, and to top it off, the delivery person was rude. At $35.00, it was definitely not worth it.

I visited this restaurant a few days before leaving town and had a great experience. The service was excellent, and the ingredients were high quality and fresh. I recommend leaving a little extra tip for the waiters, as they were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Empire is my go-to spot for a fast and delicious lunch salad. The ingredients are consistently fresh and crisp. I do wish they had their own signature dressing instead of using Ken's (which I'm not a fan of), but it's not a deal-breaker for me.
Empire is great and they have a huge menu it is pizza and diner food... and the girl answering the phones doesn 't speak English very well so she comes off as snotty, but she is very sweet.
need to find someone else to answer phone,that girl doest give a **** about her job. Lost at least one customer already how many more. RUDE
