Excellent mexican restaurant with an outstanding service and great customer service! I always go there with my co workers and we are always welcomed by the owner who is a wonderful lady and has a beautiful smile and she always treat us like we are family. I think this is the best restaurant in Hempstead Texas because the food is delicious! They are very flexible with the orders. Today I had a chile relleno with mushrooms inside and it was very tasty. I also love the spinach enchiladas. They have a variety of flavored frozen margaritas, and they serve the beer in a frozen jar. The service is excellent and I love the private room they have in the back where you can have private events. The red salsa is home made and very delicious and the green salsa is very delicious too! We always want to go there to have a great time and have dinner! Thank you for your excellent service!
I 've never had a deep-fried, stuffed avocado before. I didn 't even know that was a thing. Wow! It was so yummy! Service was great, and food came fast. Everything we ordered was great! We will definitely be back. UPDATE: We have been back at least a dozen times since and have brought guests, as well. Review stands. Food is fantastic and comes out so quickly! Staff is super friendly. We are now regulars . Love this place!
Has three advantages over similar joints in Houston. It's authentic. It's fresh. It's clean. One normally doesn't encounter that winning combo in the big city. It's likely too far to drive just for the sake of it. But it's a great stopping point to/from Austin if you want to avoid the chains; and who doesn't.
