Comimos aquí por recomendación del personal local en nuestro cercano hotel. Caminando por el bland dreary hotel con decoración de fecha eramos vacilantes, pero cuando nos dirigimos al pequeño restaurante Chefs de Port-Lligat en la terraza fuimos aliviados y encantados. Cada plato era magnífico, comenzando con nueces picadas, mermeladas y aceitunas seguido de magnífico pato con ciruelas (yo) y cordero (hubby). La camarera fue alegre, complaciente y entusiasta y el chef ansioso por complacer y emocionado con nuestro elogio. Este restaurante elegante hizo nuestra primera noche en Cadaques realmente especial.
After walking from cadaques and visiting Dali's house we ate lunch at the port lligat hotel. Very quiet at lunch time in February but it probably gets quite busy in high summer. The food was very good if expensive. 12 euros for salad, 40 euros for lobster and rice for 2. The puddings were works of art. We enjoyed the experience, the views and the food. However it would have been better to be offered something to clean our hands on after the lobster, especially as there were no towels in the wash basin next to the toilets.
It seems that if they are next to Casa-Museo Dali they can do whatever they want and it's very sad. The prices are too high for a such a restaurant in a village, even if Dali lived here. Moreover, the service is very bad. At first we were waitng for a waiter, who always ignored us, therefore only three tables were occupied in the whole restaurant and then we wrere waiting our coffee and croissants for 40 minutes. Also the owner was very rude and agressive. It's unacceptable! We will never come back!
This is a restaurant that aspires to fine dining but doesn't quite hit the mark, although it can't be faulted for ambition as the menu descriptions suggest. Lovers of roast lamb expecting slices of the meat should be aware that it is served in a sort of brown square, as in the picture. The view over the bay is magnificent, the waiter and the chef are both charming, the wine is not over-priced, and as something a bit up-market for a holiday treat, then it's fine.

Tasty paella/pasta starter, buena ensalada de salmón marinado, mi omlet sorpresa pudding era una obra de arte, excelente. La casa rosé es completamente de buen gusto. Tienen reglas arcanas sobre quién puede sentarse en la terraza! Disfrutamos de nuestra comida y calentamos al personal. A finales de octubre fue el único restaurante que vimos en Port Lligat y fue un agujero ideal de riego en el camino a la casa de Dali pero es caro para lo que es.
Encuentra una mesa con sombra en el balcón para disfrutar de una bonita vista de la bahía y la casa de Dalí. Elige unas deliciosas tapas para picar algo rápido y acompáñalas con una cerveza fría. ¡Este restaurante también es amigable con las mascotas!
Relájate en el balcón con una copa de vino y prueba las tapas catalanas del menú. Desde croquetas de morcilla catalana hasta anchoas y tomate en pan. La vista sobre el agua lo hace aún mejor.
Este restaurante de hotel está muy cerca del Museo Dalí. Las tapas son buenas, la cerveza fría, pero la vista es lo que hace especial el lugar. El personal es amable también.

Location was right next to Casa de Dali. Sat on porch in sun. Server was sweet. Had lamb and John Dory--both beautiful in presentation and cooked to perfection.
