Espetada - Reserva de mesa

We dined here twice during our brief stay in Mittenwald. The novelty is the ‘Pikes’ long steel skewers of meat which get cooked, brought out and then hung over your table. The menus were in a choice of languages and the ‘hands on’ owner...was pretty fluent in English and made sure all his diners were well looked after. The food was very tasty and the whole experience was excellent.

Unfortunately we discovered this lovely restaurant on our last night in Mittenwald otherwise we would definitely have been back. We had the homemade burgers which came with delicious sauces and chips. The bread for the burger rolls was homemade too. The pancakes that I had...for dessert were incredible, a huge portion for just euros.

We liked it. A spacious indoor restaurant with no outside view. Burger dominates the menus but it offers other food too. Our meal for two with drinks, starter and main- costed us Euro, so it was reasonable. Portions were large and we could finish...everything. Toilet doesn’t ask you to pay.

We loved this restaurant in Mittenwald. We came twice as a group of and felt most welcome. They had Gluten free options and made exeptional efforts to satisfy this need. We recommend the burgers and the chicken breast and don't give up the desert. Reserva una mesa ahora

I only had a flammkuchen very good but the service was efficient and friendly. When I asked for water they even offered tap as an option something that never happens in Germany) Also tables around me had the meat skewers which looked...delicious

Sehr nette Bedienung. Hatten Rücksicht auf mein Augenleiden genommen und gaben uns immer einen Tisch der nicht so stark beleuchtet war. Das Essen war sehr lecker . 2017 kommen wir in jedem Fall wieder.

We had a schnitzel, a double beef burger and drinks for dinner. Meal was delicious, drinks cold, great service by the staff, well done. Nice cosy atmosphere inside. Prices reasonable.

Wonderful meal! Best of our holidays! The pork fillet pikes are really a highlight! And so are the plum dumplings for desert! And the service was very nice and hospitable! Reserva una mesa ahora

Nice restaurant with good service and food. The beef pike and flatbread pizza were excellent. Good staff who speak English.
