I visit weekly with a friend, before our walk. The staff are friendly and Lee, the Manager is exceptional. He ensures the place runs smoothly whilst getting stuck in himself to deliver a great service. He is patient with new staff, which is good to see. He remembers my drink which is a mission: medium, decaf, skinny, sugar free caramel latte! Sandwiches on delicious breads,hot and cold, soup, doorstep toast, cakes and delicious ice creams. Situated in a lovely area for walking around Runcorn Hill. There is a children's playground and lake nearby, as well as tennis courts. Need I say more? Well worth a visit.
I typically order a coffee and sandwich at this restaurant, and it's decent. They offer a variety of sandwiches and cakes. I tried a hummus and vegetable sandwich that had a sour taste. I requested chutney or sauce to mask the flavor and was given options of ketchup, brown sauce, or mayo. When I asked if the vegetables were pickled because of the strange taste, I was informed that they use sourdough bread. I ended up with a sandwich that I didn't enjoy and felt like the staff didn't care. Overall, this was not a great customer service or dining experience on this visit.
We drive over a couple of times every week for a brisk walk and then coffee and doorsteps (or sometimes cake) such a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome, well done to Chloe,Amy Natt for looking after everything,in our opinion your frothy Latte's are the best in the northwest!!!!
This cafe has a charming atmosphere and serves delicious treats. The friendly service is excellent, and the toilets are clean. The elf trail was fantastic, the kids enjoyed it, and the prizes were generous. Thank you so much, I would definitely recommend this place.

Just recently found this great cafe. Delicious vegan options. I have the oat milk latte. It’s delicious. Staff very efficient and friendly. Nice setting. In door and out door seating. Very clean. Very reasonably priced. What’s not to like?
Lovely food and great service. Took 3 year old grandson after a walk in the hill who had one of their ice creams and I had great tasting coffee and tea cake. Short wait but this was because they were so busy and it always is as it’s good!
This restaurant is a great spot for enjoying ice cream and coffee. They also have a nice variety of sandwiches including my favorite, the halloumi sandwich. The outdoor seating options are plentiful as well.
I often go here to meet up with people for coffee and a light bite. It never disappoints. You can also go for a walk in the park next door.

Really nice café. Clean and tidy. Lovely food and excellent attentive service. Toilets and car park adjacent to Runcorn Hill.
Food here is lovely. There is a wait to be served usually but it's a very popular place. We will definitely be back!
