Went here based on Google's highly recommended label. We thought it was a more casual spot. We wanted carry out. Felt so awkward when we walked in wearing shorts and tank top. It is a cute intimate little restaurant. Quite appropriate for a date night or upscale dinner. Outdoor seating is available as well.Even though it's tiny and you can see straight through to the kitchen, no food odors or smoke enters the dining area. We sat at the bar and waited for our food. He ordered ribs with the mango habanero sauce. I ordered all sides. Collard greens, red beans and rice, corn bread and cream of crab soup. 66 total. My food was quite tasty. The crab soup was good, but could use just a bit more cra...

No fancy white tablecloths or silverware here, but PLENTY of incredibly delicious creole soul food, perfectly made cocktails and friendly knowledgeable staff in cosy surroundings. This is the place we go when we need to cheer ourselves right up and it works, every single time! On our last trip I enjoyed the catfish stack, a beautifully crisped catfish between slices of cornbread with a thick gumbo style sauce and a side of sautéed zucchini and yellow squash. I enjoyed this with a delicious lemon drop cocktail they even freshly squeeze all of their own juices!! So, if you are looking for some honest to goodness soul food and a warm belly hug, keep this place on your restaurant rotation list.

We got the crab dip, crab cake, Caesar salad, and cornbread. The crab dip was really good but if you don’t like spinach and a looser consistency you may not enjoy but it was full of flavor and lump crab meat. The cornbread was also very good. The crab cakes were good, filled with lump crab meat just had a too many shells in the meat for my liking. The service was excellent, I would definitely come back.

I don’t want to be mean, but I am not sure what the other reviewers are eating. The restaurant had to be completely out of salt and hasn’t restocked their spices because that was the blandest food I’ve had in my life. On par with cafeteria food and that “Creole” rice was shameful. Service was nice and the dessert was good. Reserva una mesa ahora

Incredible food, great atmosphere, and great all around experience. The prime rib and salmon were amazing and everything on the menu was explained with great detail. Give this place a shot!

Came here for my aunts 65th birthday party. It was a great experience. We rented out the upstairs room. It was very nice. Food was good but not seasoned. That’s what the four stars was.

I have NEVER had a bad experience meal or drink here!! Everything was done, served and provided. From the libation to every crumb on my plate. Can’t add pictures because it’s gone.
