This was my first time making a dinner reservation, especially for a date. I am currently 21 years old and wanted to do something special for the woman I am seeing. I found this restaurant through an app and the reservation process was quick and easy. However, finding the restaurant took some effort as it is almost hidden in the walls of North End. Once I found it, I realized it was worth the search. The restaurant is beautifully built with dim lighting creating an intimate atmosphere. It was a birthday celebration for my twin sons before attending Comics Come Home. The food was just okay The calamari was cooked well, but extremely bland. None of the three meals stood out. Which is a little disappointing. For my twin sons birthday, they brought out one small cannoli with a candle. So embarrassing and not what I wanted for a birthday celebration. I will say our server and host were very good.
The buffalo mozzarella, crab cake, and calamari appetizers were fantastic. My veal was delicious, and everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals. The only downside was that the bill was a bit pricey. The waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. Overall, it was a great culinary experience.
