Europa at the Bay - Reserva de mesa

A group of 8 of us dined here last night, this place is among the group of restaurants on jetty street on the south side of the street right down in mosely square. Service was friendly but slow and a little inattentive, not for lack of trying but just stretched quite thin. The time between ordering and meal arrival was probably 45mins plus. We had grilled calamari, pan fried chicken, vegetable pizza, a europa salad, seafood pasta and salt/pepper calamari. The calamari was very well cooked, soft and buttery meat with no fishy taste. We had a delicious meal at Europa at The Bay. My wife ordered an entre size of a main meal dish, Pasta Crab. Prices for all entres was around $18. The bill came and price for her entre was $32! Of course I wanted to know why! Well, yes she did have gluten free pasta but why we are charged extra these days I have no idea. Gluten free pasta is no longer more expensive than a good normal pasta to buy in the shops. Well apparently an entre size of a main meal means you get 70% the main course size not 50%. Well, yes, ok. So 70% size convert to 70% price should make cost around $24. Ah..but then we did have gluten free pasta and crab is expensive sir.....really! Then if the entre is $32 why isn't...

Awful experience. We went out for a work lunch. Waited am hour for food. My pork belly was over cooked with soggy crackling and the potato underneath was actually cold! I didn't have time to send it back as we'd already waited so long. When I told the man when leaving he sulkily said "yeah, sorry". Not good enough for $35!

I went to the Europa Espresso Bar, which is I presume part of this restaurant, to get some gelato on a hot day. Sampled the hazelnut and pistachio flavours and was not impressed. The texture of the hazelnut was grainy without enough flavour. The pistachio tasted mainly like almond essence. Reserva una mesa ahora

The restaurant was empty when we arrived. We were very happy with the service and the food. We ordered the chilli crab linguini, grilled calamari, penne al ragu, penne con pollo. They are large servings. We ordered garlic bread and arancini beforehand so we ordered a bit too much.

Very enjoyable excellent meals salsicce Arosta was tasty light , quite delightful. Mozzarella Caprese pleasant but a little stingy on the mozzarella. Nice environment and accessible location I would gladly recommend.

Breakfast is overpriced for what you get! The hollandaise sauce was pretty much melted butter and lacked flavour and coffee was the worst coffee I've ever had in Adelaide!

On a cold day at Glenelg with our pooches Europa was the place to go to warm up with a delicious coffee! With great coffee and amazing heaters we were happy Reserva una mesa ahora

Amongst the franchise/chainstore section of Glenelg, this little boutique authentic Italian coffee shop is where I go if I want a decent coffee.

The sprooker on the street outside was very convincing this morning plus this cafe had less Lycra about than the others nearby.
